What is Full Moon wo Sagashite?
Full Moon wo Sagashite is a manga and anime series by Tanemura Arina. The manga was published in Ribon Magazine from January 2002 through June 2004, and was released in seven tankoubon volumes by Shueisha. The manga is currently being translated by VIZ in the United States, as a part of their Shoujo Beat line. The anime aired from April 6, 2002 until March 29, 2003 on TV Tokyo, running 52 episodes (a full two seasons in Japan.)
Who is Takuto Kira?
Takuto is one of the Shinigami that Mitsuki encounters in her room while plotting a plan to escape from her house. They are invisible to all humans, but Mitsuki is able to see them. Takuto has the ability to change into the form of a stuffed toy cat, a trick he uses in the first chapter to capture Mitsuki. Despite his role, he has a soft spot for Mitsuki, often helping her in times of need. (Modified from Full Moon.)
